5 years ago, I thankfully graduated from the National University of Galway as a Project and Construction Manager. NUIG is ranked one of the highest universities in Europe, especially in the engineering and construction department. It gave me a solid foundation on how to treat and attack the construction industry on a day-to-day basis. Once I graduated, I decided to set my ambitions to London. Here I started as a site-based engineer and gradually developed into a project manager.
During my time in London, I got to specialise in groundworks and high-rise R.C frames on some very special projects in areas such as Wembley Park, Stratford (London Olympic stadium), Heathrow Airport, and Vauxhall.
I am very happy to be a project manager with D-Way construction in Melbourne. It is a fast-growing business, and I am hoping my experience can make a real difference in the coming years.
